What does a Category B driving course involve?
The course includes theory training, practical driving lessons, internal assessments and preparation for the state driving test. A standard course provides 30 lesson periods of theory and 30 full hours of practical instruction.
Do you offer Category B courses in an automatic car?
Yes. You can learn in either a manual-transmission car or an automatic-transmission car.
Do you offer refresher driving lessons in Wrocław?
Yes. Refresher lessons are available to KopaMa learners and to people who trained at another driving school.
Does the course include internal assessments?
Yes. The course includes internal theory and practical assessments to check your preparation before the state tests.
Can I start a Category B course before I turn 18?
Yes. You may start a Category B course up to three months before reaching the minimum age, which currently means from the age of 16 years and 9 months. If you are under 18, you need written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Which documents do I need to start the course?
You need proof of identity and a Driver Candidate Profile (PKK). We can explain how to obtain your PKK if you have not arranged it yet.
Can I reserve a place before I have my PKK number?
You can contact us and reserve a place. Before your training formally begins, we will confirm which documents still need to be provided.
What should I bring to the first class?
Bring proof of identity and any information or documents requested when you enrolled. You will receive the organisational details before the course begins.
Can I visit the office without an appointment?
Yes, although calling in advance or registering online makes it easier to confirm office hours and course availability.
Which medical examination is required before the course?
You need a medical certificate confirming that there are no medical reasons preventing you from driving. The certificate is required to obtain your PKK.

Yes. Practical training includes exercises on a manoeuvring area as well as driving in urban traffic.
Can I choose between a manual and an automatic car?

Yes. Practical lesson times are agreed individually, taking account of both the learner's and the instructor's availability.

Driving test
What happens during the Category B theory test?
The theory test is computer-based and checks your knowledge of traffic rules, road signs and safe road use.
What happens during the Category B practical test?
The practical test includes tasks on the manoeuvring area and driving in traffic. The examiner assesses observation, manoeuvres and compliance with traffic rules.
How should I prepare for the theory test?
Use the current question database, practise tests regularly and take an active part in theory classes. Review the topics in which you make the most mistakes.
Which mistakes are common during the practical test?
Common difficulties include observation, right of way, lane changes, parking and responding correctly to signs and changing traffic conditions.
Can I take the test in a car I know from my course?

Prices and payment
How much does a Category B course at KopaMa cost?
A course in a manual-transmission car costs PLN 4,600, while an automatic course costs PLN 4,800. See the current price list for additional charges.
Which additional costs should I allow for?
In addition to the course fee, allow for the medical examination, photograph, state test fees and the driving licence issue fee. Any additional lessons are charged separately.
